The two Gold (All-Around, Clubs) and one Silver (Hoop) medals were won by gymnast Nilufar Niftaliyeva, as well as the “silver” (Ribbon) and the "bronze" (Ball) by Mansura Bagiyeva at the "Children of Asia"  5th International Sports Games in Yakutsk (Russia).

A participation of gymnast Shakir Shikhaliyev at Artistic Gymnastics events of the Olympic Games in London (Great Britain) for the first time in history of Azerbaijani gymnastics after gaining its independence.
