Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation entered the rating list of meritorious federations, activities of which were distinguished by the FIG second year in a row.

The FIG World Trampoline Gymnastics Cup AGF Trophy was successfully organized in Baku for the first time.  

The Silver medals were won by Men’s Pair (Seymur Jafarov- Murad Akparov) and Mixed Pair (Aghasif Rahimov-Nurjan Jabbarli) in Final Combined exercises at the 9^th World Acrobatic Gymnastics Age Group Competitions in Putian (China) for the first time in history at this kind of event
