Milli Gimnastika Arenası (MGA, National Gymnastics Arena), mainly used to receive senior gymnasts within the framework of international events, this time, will open its doors to junior gymnasts participating in the AGF Junior Trophy International Tournament in April of 2018.
Junior Rhythmic Gymnasts will precede the seniors and compete for mounting the steps of the podium on April 23 & 24. This event will be followed by the FIG RG World Cup at the same venue straight away.
According to the rules of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), the participants will compete in the age category of gymnasts born in 2003-2005.
Young gymnasts, sometimes, making the spectators to be thrilled with their trembling performances, and, sometimes, making them to raise in applause with their confident exercises, will test their strength only in individual program. In the course of 2-day competitions, there will be defined winners in the team competition and apparatus finals.
It should be mentioned that AGF Junior Trophy will be organized in the format of the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships to be held in Spanish City of Guadalajara on June 1-3, 2018. It will give the gymnasts an opportunity to overcome their anxiety, and by perfecting their program, to demonstrate more confident performances at the European Championships.
The participation of 18 countries is anticipated in the tournament.

Shirvanshahs’ Palace
Located behind the city walls of Old Town (“Icharishahar”) the Palace is just one of the oldest symbols of Baku. Built in the 15th century, just right at the time when Baku became the capital of Shirvanshahs kingdom, it is one of a few good remaining old buildings in Baku. In 2000 it was inscribed in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The Maiden Tower (Qiz Qalasi)
The Maiden Tower is a monument that is shrouded in mystery and legend. The most majestic monument of Baku rises in the south-eastern part of the fortress of Icherisheher. This unique building of the Azerbaijani architecture does not have any analogues in the East. The symbol of Baku was included into the list of World Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in December of 2000.
HISTORY MUSEUM
The building where the National History Museum of Azerbaijan is presently located was the dwelling house for Hadji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev and his family. The palace designed by architect Joseph Goslavsky, Pole by origin (1865-1904) is one of the most beautiful buildings of Baku.

The Boulevard is the must-see attraction in Baku. It is also known as the Seaside National Park and is the favorite promenade of many Baku residents and visitors. Its establishment goes back to more than 100 years ago. ATESHGAH TEMPLE
The Baku Ateshgah, often called the "Fire Temple of Baku", is a castle-like religious temple in Surakhani, a suburb in Baku, Azerbaijan. Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship.
Heydar Aliyev Center
The Heydar Aliyev Center is an amazing building which represents the modern face of Baku. The building was designed by the famous architect, Zaha Hadid and is one of the icons of modern architecture, which really deserves a visit.
GOBUSTAN
Gobustan is famous with its rock drawings dating back to 40,000 years. This site is considered as the one of earliest inhabited settlement of people in Azerbaijan. YANAR DAGH (BURNING MOUNTAIN)
Yanar Dagh is situated 25 km northeast of Baku. The reason that this place is worth checking out is its continuous fire, which never extinguishes. The flame derives from the gas reserves beneath the land and there are no pipes making it burn.
Bibi-Heybat Mosque
One cannot miss the Bibi-Heybat mosque as one heads south-past the lower tip of Baku bay; The modern restored mosque is a classic example of the Shirvan architectural school, having three domes following the traditional corrugated, galvanized iron shape of the old mosque and two minarets.
Azerbaijan Carpet Museum
Azerbaijan Carpet Museum displays Azernaijani carpets and rug items of various weaving techniques and materials from various periods. At the time of establishing, it was the only museum that was dedicated to the art of carpet weaving. It is named after Latif Karimov and has the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world.
