The 30th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships were organized in Baku for the third time, which became the first large-scale international event held at MGA.

The Silver medal was won by an Azerbaijani Senior Team in Group Exercises consisting of Siyana Vasileva, Aliya Pashayeva, Diana Doman, Aleksandra Platonova, Aynur Mustafayeva and Sabina Abbasova in Final exercise with 3 Balls and 2 Ribbons at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku for the first time in history of Azerbaijani gymnastics.

The Silver medal was won by gymnast Zhala Piriyeva in Final routine with a Hoop at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku.

The Bronze medal was won by junior gymnasts (Zhala Piriyeva and Zuleykha Ismayilova) in a Team Competition at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku for the first time in history of Azerbaijani gymnastics.
