For the first time in history of the Azerbaijani Gymnastics, Magsud Mahsudov, performing in Individual program among 11-12-aged jumpers, was honoured with the Gold medal at the 27th World Age Group competitions in Trampoline Gymnastics held in the City of Tokyo (Japan). At these competitions, Huseyn Abbasov & Magsud Mahsudov, performing in Trampoline Synchronized program in the age category of gymnasts aged 11-12, won the Silver medal.
Within the framework of this Championships, Aleksey Karatashev, who represented our country among gymnasts aged 11&12, won the Gold medal in Tumbling events.
