For the first time in Baku, the 12th World Age Group Competitions in acrobatic gymnastics were organized.
Our women’s group, consisting of Leyla Bashirova, Nazrin Farmanova, and Mansuma Mammadzada, competing in the 13-19 age category, won the first-ever gold medal in the mixed routine program at the World Age Group Competitions, marking a historic achievement in acrobatic gymnastics.
For the first time in Baku, the 28th World Championships in acrobatic gymnastics were held.
In the competition, our mixed pair, Agasif Rahimov and Raziya Seyidli, won silver in the tempo routine program, while our men’s pair, Daniel Abbasov and Murad Rafiev, took bronze in both the mixed and tempo routine programs.
The World Cup in men's and women's artistic gymnastics was also successfully organized in Azerbaijan.
