Zohra Agamirova, the champion of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, a three-time gold, silver, and bronze medalist at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, a double silver medalist at the Summer Universiade, and a participant in the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games, was elected a member of the Athletes' Commission of the National Olympic Committee.
The promotional video "Health starts with gymnastics, and gymnastics starts with sports," presented by the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation at the National Television Festival of Sports Films and Programs dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the National Olympic Committee, won in the "Advertisement and Promo Video" category.
At the World Championships in men's and women's artistic gymnastics held in Liverpool, UK, a new element performed by our national team member Nikita Simonov in the rings event was officially recognized by the FIG’s Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Technical Committee.
