At the 37th Trampoline and Tumbling World Championships held in Birmingham, UK, our gymnast Mikhail Malkin became the first in Azerbaijani gymnastics history to win a gold medal in tumbling.
At the World Championships, our national team members Mikhail Malkin, Tofiq Aliyev, Adil Hajizada, and Elnur Mammadov won the gold medal in the team competition for tumbling, marking a first in Azerbaijani gymnastics history.
At the 30th World Age Group Competitions held in Birmingham, UK, our representatives Ibrahim Mustafazade and Ammar Bakhshaliyev, as well as Samira Huseynova and Ayan Shabanova, won silver medals in the synchronized trampoline program. This result marked the first achievement in Azerbaijani gymnastics history in the women's synchronized program at the World Age Group Competitions. Our gymnast Aleksey Karatashov won a bronze medal in tumbling.
