Azerbaijani Acrobatic Gymnastics representatives achieved remarkable success at the World Championships in Guimarães, Portugal by winning 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals.

Men's Pair - Murad Rafiyev and Daniel Abbasov, Mixed Pair - Aghasif Rahimov and Raziya Seyidli, as well as Men’s group - Seymur Jafarov, Rasul Seyidli, Riad Safarov and Abdullah Al-Mashaykhi, showcased outstanding performances and won the Silver Medal in the Team Competition. 

Men’s Pair, Murad Rafiyev and Daniel Abbasov, won the “Gold” in the Balance and Combined Exercises. The Pair also won the Bronze in the Dynamic Exercises.

Mixed Pair - Aghasif Rahimov and Raziya  Seyidli became the World Champions in Balance and Combined Exercises, while they became the Bronze medalists in Dynamic Exercises. Thus, both pairs have qualified for the World Games.

Additionally, the Men's Group, consisting of Seymur Jafarov, Rasul Seyidli, Riad Safarov and Abdulla Al-Mashaykhi, achieved a Bronze Medal in Temp exercises.

Two Gold Medals were won in acrobatic gymnastics at the World Age Group Competitions and the First World Championship among juniors held in the Portuguese city of Guimarães. The Women's Group, consisting of Nazrin Zeyniyeva, Anahita Bashiri and Zahra Rashidova, won the final competition in the age group of 13-19 years and for the first time in history, they entered the top five in the junior world championship and claimed victory.

In Aerobic Gymnastics, the Mixed Pair consisting of Vladimir Dolmatov and Madina Mustafayeva made history by winning Azerbaijan’s first-ever Silver Medal at the Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships in Pesaro, Italy. Thus, they also qualified for the World Games.
