From September 12 to 15, at the World Age Group Competitions and the first World Junior Championships in Guimarães, Portugal, our women’s group – Nazrin Zeyniyeva, Anahita Bashiri, and Zahra Rashidova – claimed two gold medals in the 13-19 age category. They made history by finishing among the top five at the junior World Championships, scoring 29.900 points, and securing victory among Israel, the Netherlands, the UK, and Portugal.
Other women's groups also competed: Dinara Ibadova, Gashang Aghamoglanli, and Jeyla Alizadeh (12-18 age group); Diana Mammadova, Sofia Babayeva, and Firuza Gasimzada (12-18 age group); and Ayan Hajili, Aylin Mammadova, and Jasmin Aliyeva (13-19 age group). The group of Diana Mammadova, Sofia Babayeva, and Firuza Gasimzada placed fifth in the final with 26.850 points.
Acrobatic gymnasts from Azerbaijan won 4 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals at the World Championships in Guimarães, Portugal. The men’s pair – Murad Rafiyev & Daniel Abbasov – and the mixed pair – Aghasif Rahimov & Raziyeh Seyidli – performed successfully, earning silver medals. The men’s pair won two gold medals in combined (28.500 points) and balance routines (28.540 points) and a bronze medal in tempo (27.420 points). The mixed pair of Aghasif Rahimov & Raziyeh Seyidli won gold in balance (28.730 points) and combined routines (29.080 points) and took third place in tempo (28.010 points). The men's group – Seymur Jafarov, Rasul Seyidli, Riad Safarov, and Abdullah Al-Mashaykhi – claimed a bronze medal in the tempo routine (27.300 points).

In aerobics gymnastics, the mixed pair of Vladimir Dolmatov & Medina Mustafayeva made history by winning silver at the World Championships in Pesaro, Italy, with a score of 20.300 points.
