Members of the national acrobatic gymnastics team, Murad Rafiyev and Daniel Abbasov (men’s pair), were named the “Winners of the World Cup Series” by the International Gymnastics Federation.

From July 16 to 27, during the 32nd Summer World University Games held in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region, the senior group exercise team - Gullu Agalarzada, Laman Alimuradova, Yelizaveta Luzan, Darya Sorokina, and Kamilla Aliyeva won gold medals in all-around and ribbon program, as well as a silver medal in the 3 balls + 2 hoops routine.
