From May 1 to 4, our capital hosted the European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics. For the first time, Cross Battles between group exercises routine were held at this European Cup.

At the European Cup held in Baku, the senior group exercises team - Yelyzaveta Luzan, Darya Sorokina, Kamilla Aliyeva, Leman Alimuradova, and Sofia Mammadova - won a gold medal in the 3 Ribbons + 2 Hoops routine and a bronze medal in the Cross Battles.
The junior group exercises team - Nazrin Abdullayeva, Roya Alikishiyeva, Shams Muveffaqi, Ayan Nasirova, and Nazrin Salmanli - won two bronze medals in the 5 Hoops and 5 pairs of Clubs routines.
Individually, Shams Agahuseynova earned a bronze medal with her Ribbon routine.

At the European Cup held in Burgas, Bulgaria from May 15 to 18, the senior group exercises team - Yelyzaveta Luzan, Darya Sorokina, Kamilla Aliyeva, Leman Alimuradova, and Sofia Mammadova secured a silver medal in the 3 Ribbons + 2 Hoops routine.
The junior group exercises team - Nazrin Abdullayeva, Roya Alikishiyeva, Shams Muveffaqi, Ayan Nasirova, and Nazrin Salmanli earned bronze medals in the All-around and 5 Hoops routines.
Fidan Gurbanli won a silver medal in the Clubs routine, while Shams Agahuseynova also took home a silver medal for her Ribbon performance.
