The capital city of Azerbaijan will be in the spotlight of Gymnastics fans once again. On October 16-19, Baku will host the European Championships in “TeamGym” for the first time. This is a truly spectacular team competition which includes performances on three apparatus at the same time. Participants will demonstrate their skills on the Floor, Tumble & Trampet (mini-trampoline). The best teams of the Continent will come to the capital of Azerbaijan, where they will determine the winners of the European Championships in “TeamGym” to be held at “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena). The spectators will experience incredible emotions, innovating and flourishing discipline for the first time. It began to develop in Azerbaijan in 2018. Today we have both professional athletes and judges in this Gymnastics discipline. In order to win, you need systematic teamwork, individual abilities and techniques for execution of various elements as well. The winner of this event is the one who is the most stable and physically prepared. We invite you to enjoy this sports festival, a real contest for top places, a bright competitive element that captivates the audience with its unpredictability & beauty. Representatives of fourteen countries have already applied to participate in the European Championships. Athletes from the Czechia, Denmark, Austria, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, and, of course, home team will perform at “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi”. A total of 498 (268 Seniors / 230 Juniors) athletes will come to Baku. 28 judges will evaluate the performances of skillful athletes. Don’t miss the chance to be a part of this event.
