The 8th Interregional Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics

This time, the bright stars of the regions will shine with their talents on the floor of Gabala city. On July 9, the 8th Interregional Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics will be held at Gabala Olympic Sports Complex. At the National competition, among the participants will be gymnasts from Shaki Olympic Sports Complex, "Ojaq” Sport Club (Zagatala, Agdash and Shamakhi regions), Oghuz Olympic Sports Complex, Gabala Olympic Sports Complex, Shirvan Olympic Sports Complex, Masalli Olympic Sports Complex, Ganja Olympic Sports Club, Absheron Olympic Sports Complex, Ganja Olympic Sports Complex, Lankaran Olympic Sports Complex, "Kur" Olympic Training Sports Center, Shamkir Youth Centre & Sumgayit Olympic Sports Complex. In total, 66 athletes from all over Azerbaijan will gather together for the tournament.
In the Cup, gymnasts will compete in the Individual program in the Age Categories of Youngsters (born in 2016, 2015, 2014), Pre-juniors (born in 2013, 2012, 2011) and Juniors (born in 2009-2010). Teams within Group exercises will compete in the Age Categories of Youngsters (born in 2014-2016) and Pre-juniors (born in 2012-2013).
It’s gratifying that compared to the Interregional Cup held in Lankaran last year, this year there is a significant increase in the number of sports communities and participating athletes. This means that efforts made to increase the popularity of sport discipline is bearing its fruits
