AZERBAIJAN AND BAKU CHAMPIONSHIP AMONG AGE CATEGORIES IN ACROBATIC GYMNASTICS
Following artistic, trampoline and rhythmic gymnasts, acrobats will join the national competitions this time.
Azerbaijan and Baku Championship among Age Categories in Acrobatic Gymnastics will be held at Sports-Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev on May 20 and 21.
Baku Gymnastics School, “Ojag Sport” and “Neftchi” Clubs, Specialized Olympic Reserves’ Children-Youth Sports School No. 13 of Nizami District will be represented in the competitions with a participation of 67 acrobats.
It is remarkable that representatives of “Ojaq Sports” Club will perform at the events in Acrobatic Gymnastics for the first time.
Women's Pairs (children - 2000-2007), Men's Pairs (seniors – born in 2002 and older; pre-juniors - 1998-2006), Mixed Pairs (juniors - 1997-2005; youngsters - 2002-2010), Women's Groups (pre-juniors - 1998-2006; children - 2000-2007; youngsters - 2002-2010) and Men’s Groups (youngsters - 2002-2010) will compete for the medals in the all-around during the two-day tournament.
Silver medalists of the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Age Group Competitions - Mixed Pair consisting of Aghasif Rahimov and Nurjan Jabbarli, and Men's Pair – Seymur Jafarov-Murad Akparov will thrill the spectators with their astonishing routines throughout the events.
Young beginner gymnasts will demonstrate their exhibit performances at the end of the competitions.
