The 28th Azerbaijan Championship among Age Categories in Rhythmic Gymnastics
About competition
On October 26 & 27, the most elegant representatives of Gymnastics will gather together in Guba, which has a fascinating nature. At the 28th Azerbaijan Championship among Age Categories to be held at Guba Olympic Sports Complex, 122 gymnasts in the Individual program & 9 teams in Group Exercises representing “Ojaq” Sport Club (Shamakhi & Zagatala sections), Specialized Children-Youth Gymnastics School of Olympic Reserves, Republican Complex Sports School, “Grasiya” Sports Club, Aquatic Palace, “Zabrat” Sport Club, Zira Cultural Center, Absheron Olympic Sports Complex (OSC), Ganja OSC, Goychay OSC, Lankaran OSC, Masalli OSC, Gusar OSC, Shirvan OSC, Zaka Youth Center (Shamkir) & Nakhchivan will compete for the title of the country’s strongest gymnasts.
Athletes will perform in the Age Categories of Youngsters (born in 2013-2015), Pre-juniors (born in 2011-2012) & Juniors (born in 2008-2010).
During the two-day competition, there will be defined the winners according to the Age Categories in the Individual All-Around. Gymnasts within Group Exercises (born in 2008-2010 & 2013-2015) will join the athletes in the Individual program.
It should be mentioned that the organization of national competitions by AGF in our regions has already become a tradition. This initiative, aimed at the development of sports in the regions, serves to increase the interest of the youth in Gymnastics. We believe that the different atmosphere to be demonstrated at the Complex during the colorful performances of our gymnasts will be of great interest to the dwellers of Guba.
