This year will be remarkable in Gymnastics for our country with another event occurring for the first time. Thus, the European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics will be held in Azerbaijan for the first time on May 3-5, at the initiative of the European Gymnastics.
The competition, which will gather representatives of the most elegant Gymnastics from 37 countries, will be distinguished by its new format.
According to the program of the three-day Cup, which will be held at “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena), individual senior gymnasts will compete with the “Cross-battle” system.
So, they will compete against each other in order to advance to the finals after the Qualifications.
The winners of the European Cup will be determined in the Individual program, All-Around and Team competition.
Not only Seniors, but also Junior athletes will have an opportunity to participate in the tournament, which is open to all the FIG affiliated Federations.
Spectators wishing to watch the exciting performances of gymnasts at the event, can obtain tickets online at https://iticket.az/ and from the city ticket offices. Tickets’ cost constitutes 10 manat for Qualifications and 15 manat for Finals.
