The 2nd AGF Junior Trophy in Rhythmic Gymnastics

The 2nd  AGF Junior Trophy International Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics will take place at Milli Gimnastika Arenasi (National gymnastics Arena) on April 20 & 21. This time, the Arena will open its doors to about 130 junior gymnasts from 20 countries.

According to the rules of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), only gymnasts born in 2004-2006 will perform at the juniors` event to be held a few days prior to the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup (April 26-28). The participants will compete in both individual and group events. Within the 2-day competitions, the winners will be defined in Apparatus and All-Around Finals.

In this tournament, our country will be represented by individual gymnasts – Narmina Samadova, Narmin Bayramova, the 2018 European Championships` bronze medalist among juniors – Arzu Jalilova, and our junior team in group exercises – Madina Asadova, Laman Alimuradova, Seljan Hajizada, Milana Akbarova and Farida Safiyarzada.

Before the European Championships to be held in our capital (May, 16-19), the athletes will test their strength in this event which will be some kind of test tournament for the participants. This will give them a chance to sophisticate their programs.

The spectators wishing to watch the interesting and fascinating performances of juniors in the course of 2 days, can get their tickets from the MGA Ticket Office, 28 Mall and Ganjlik Mall shopping centers as well as online https://ticketing.mga.az/. The price of the tickets constitutes 8 and 10 manats.
