After Rhythmic Gymnasts, this time, Artistic Gymnasts will join the national competitions.
The 6th Azerbaijan and Baku Championships in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and 27th Azerbaijan and Baku Championships in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics among Age Categories will be held on March 25-26 at “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena). 69 athletes representing “Ocaq” Sport Club, Baku Gymnastics School, Sumgait Olympic Sports Complex, Sumgait Specialized Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports School and Balakan will compete in these competitions.
Gymnasts will demonstrate their skills in 5 age categories: youngsters (men - 2013-2014 / women - 2014-2015), children (men - 2011-2012 / women - 2012-2013), pre-juniors (men - 2009-2010 / women-2010-2011), juniors (men - 2005-2008 / women - 2007-2009), seniors (men - born in 2004 and older / women - born in 2006 and older).
It should be mentioned that after a two-year break, spectators will be able to watch the competitions at Milli Gimnastika Arenasi due to mitigation measures under a special quarantine regime. People participating in the competitions as spectators must have a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate or immune certificate, a certificate of contraindications to COVID-19 vaccine except people under the age of 18.
Spectators wishing to watch the exciting performances of gymnasts, can obtain tickets online at https://iticket.az/ and from the city ticket offices. Tickets’ cost constitutes 7 manat.
