Young Russian gymnast Meri Golota enjoyed performing in Azerbaijan.

“I am not very pleased with my performance,” she told reporters in Baku on February 18. "Fans are very active here.”

“Baku is very beautiful, especially its architecture,” she said.

The gymnast did not advance to the finals as two other Russian gymnasts left her behind.
