A twelve-year-old gymnast of the country Ekaterina Prokopenko successfully performed in the international tournament held in Astrakhan.

A young gymnast took the second place in her age group in an individual competition. For receiving her award, she mounted the podium together with Russian gymnasts. It should be mentioned that 30 sportswomen in all took part in the event.

Azerbaijani acrobats, taking part in the tournament in Germany, also became the silver medalists. The result of women’s pair consisting of Ayla Ahmadova and Dilara Sultanova was the second for a balance exercise, and the result for tempo exercise was the first.

Reaching the final, our pair demonstrated a mixed combination, and, after a pair from Belarus, won the second place with 84.58 points as a result. The third place was taken by a duet from Germany.
