Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation announces recruitment of volunteers on the “Volunteering program – 2020” for the organization of the international events to be held in Baku in 2020.

The persons chosen for the volunteering program, by participating in the international and national competitions to be held in our capital city in 2020 as a volunteer, will have a chance to get language skills, gain an experience in the field of sport organization and acquire new knowledge.  

There will be held trainings and workshops for volunteers concerning the organization of gymnastics event, competition rules, general training on the essence of gymnastics, familiarization with the services at the National Gymnastics Arena, as well as the fields where the volunteers will be involved in for the purpose of efficient organization of volunteering activities during the competitions.

The volunteers will be involved in various areas during the international competitions held by Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation. These include organization of competitions, press service, accreditation service, spectator service, translation service, award ceremony, transportation and so on.

The volunteers will get a chance to work as a volunteer at the FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling, AGF Trophy (February 15 & 16), 1st AGF Junior  Trophy International Tournament in Artistic Gymnastics (March 7 & 8), FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup, AGF Trophy (March 12-15), 7th Open Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics for the Prize of Yana Batyrshina (April 17-19), FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, Agf Trophy (April 24-26), World Age Group competitions (May 8-10) and World Championships in Aerobics Gymnastics (May 14-16), Men`s Artistic Gymnastics European Championships (May 27-31), as well as at national events.

By completing the application form below, the persons wishing to participate in the “Volunteering Program – 2020”, can apply until November 30, 2019.
