The 10th Interregional Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup, held at the Neftchala Olympic Sports Complex on 23 May, successfully concluded. Nearly 100 gymnasts representing various regions of the country - Absheron, Agdash, Ganja, Masalli, Mingachevir, Nakhchivan, Khirdalan, Sumgayit, Sabirabad, Shamakhi, Sheki, Shamkir, and Zagatala - demonstrated their skills throughout the competition.

The gymnasts competed in the mini, junior, and youth age categories, performing routines both without apparatus and with various apparatus.

During the first half of the day, the performances of the gymnasts competing in the mini category were presented, followed by the awards ceremony for the winners. In the second half of the day, gymnasts from the junior and youth categories showcased their talent and abilities.

The gymnasts representing the city of Sumgayit particularly distinguished themselves through their outstanding results.

Throughout the competition, the athletes attracted attention with their high level of motivation, professional preparation, and artistic performances. Their routines once again demonstrated that sports schools operating in the regions play a significant role in shaping the future of gymnastics in our country.

The growing interest in gymnastics across the regions year after year is a clear indication of the sustainable development of sport in Azerbaijan.
