AGF announces the names of the best gymnasts of 2022

Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) has announced the names of the best gymnasts of the year based on the 2022 results. Our Team in Group exercises consisting of Gullu Aghalarzade, Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Zeynab Hummatova, Yelyzaveta Luzan and Darya Sorokina, who are the Bronze medalists of the World Championships, three-time Bronze medalists of the European Championships, two-time Gold & Silver medalists of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, led the ranking list with 801 points. 
Zohra Aghamirova - winner of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, participant of the Summer Olympic Games Tokyo-2020, two-time silver medalist of the Summer Universiade, three-time Gold, Silver & Bronze medalist of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, ranked 2nd with 772 points.
Ivan Tikhonov - the Gold & Bronze medalist of the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) within the framework of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, ranked 3rd with 435 points. 
The Silver medalist of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games and another representative of MAG - Nikita Simonov - took the 4th place with 368 points.
Members of our Rhythmic Gymnastics Team in Group exercises - Nargiz Ramazanova, Fatima Mammadzada, Zahra Pashazada, Fidan Yusifzada, Sakina Ibrahimbayli & Leyla Aliyeva, who won a number of international tournaments during the year, took the 5th place with 365 points. 
The Silver medalists of the World Championships, our Acrobatic gymnasts within Mixed Pair - Aghasif Rahimov & Raziya Seyidli ranked 6th (297,5 points).
Our Acrobatic gymnasts within Men’s Pair - Daniel Abbasov & Murad Rafiyev - two-time Bronze medalists of the World Championships - ranked 7th with 287 points.
Our Rhythmic gymnast and the Gold medalist of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games - Ilona Zeynalova - ranked 8th (221 points).
Representative in Trampoline Gymnastics, European Champion among juniors & the Bronze medalist of the World Age Group competitions - Magsud Mahsudov – took the 9th place with 190 points.
Our Rhythmic gymnast - Arzu Jalilova, who took the 4th place at the European Championships this year and participated in a number of major competitions, ranked 10th (181 points).
