The second day of the Acrobatic and Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup featured another round of qualification performances, as athletes continued their pursuit of places in the finals.
According to the competition schedule, in acrobatic gymnastics, the men’s groups, women’s pairs, and men’s pairs performed their dynamic routines, while women’s groups and mixed pairs showcased their balance exercises.
In aerobic gymnastics, qualification rounds were held in the individual, trio, and group events, determining the finalists who will compete for the medals on the concluding day of the competition.
Representing Azerbaijan in acrobatic gymnastics, the women’s group comprising Anahita Bashiri, Nazrin Zeyniyeva, and Zahra Rashidova delivered a strong performance, earning 57.370 points and securing a place in the final. The men’s pair of Seymur Jafarov and Rasul Seyidli also advanced to the final after scoring 54.300 points.
In aerobic gymnastics, the mixed pair of Madina Mustafayeva and Vladimir Dolmatov qualified for the final with a score of 18.550 points. In the trio event, Leyla Bejanova, Arzu Agayeva, and Khadija Guliyeva also secured their place in the final, receiving 17.088 points for their routine.
On the third and final day of the World Cup, athletes will compete for the World Cup medals, bringing the competition to an exciting conclusion.
