On March 10-11, the 30th National Championship and Baku Championship in Acrobatic Gymnastics successfully took place at the National Gymnastics Arena.
Athletes from the Baku Gymnastics School, “Neftchi” Sports Club, 13th Specialized Olympic Reserve Gymnastics School and “Ocaq” Sports Club competed for victory.
On the first day of the competition, gymnasts in the junior (2010-2019), children (2009-2014), pre-junior (2009-2013), youngsters (2006-2011) and senior (2010 and older) categories performed Balance exercises. On the second day, they showcased Dynamic and combined exercises.
During interviews, the gymnasts emphasized that this annual competition provides them with an invaluable opportunity to evaluate their preparation levels, identify weaknesses, improve their skills and gain experience for future success on larger international stages.
Additionally, during the event, members of our Men’s group, Riad Safarov, Seymur Jafarov, and Rasul Seyidli, were awarded special insignia from the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) for earning the prestigious title of “World Class Gymnast”.
