The Acrobatic Gymnastics European Championships, which took place after a two-year break, was also successful for our gymnasts. Our representatives again made us happy with the medals won in the Continental Championships.

At the Championships held in the City of Pesaro (Italy) from September 29 to October 3, Azerbaijan was represented by Mixed Pair consisting of Aghasif Rahimov & Raziya Seyidli and Men`s Pair consisting of Murad Rafiyev & Daniel Abbasov among seniors while Women`s Group - Mansuma Mammadzada, Leyla Bashirova and Nazrin Farmanova performed among juniors.

Our acrobats started to win medals from the very first day of the competition. The Azerbaijani Women's Group won the Bronze medal, having received 27,400 scores from the judges for their dynamic exercises.

By adding both “Silver” and “Bronze” to our team's medal box, Aghasif and Raziya doubled our medal joy. Having received 86,470 scores for their combined exercises, our gymnasts took the 2nd place on the podium. On the last day of the event, they became Bronze medalist for their dynamic routine and raised our tricolor flag for the third time at the Vitrifrigo Arena in Pesaro.

The Azerbaijani Men's Pair - Murad Rafiyev & Daniel Abbasov showed the best result in the combined exercises and ranked 5th.
