Today, a leader of the Azerbaijani Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team Aliya Garayeva competed on the qualification’s second day. According to the azerisport.com, at first, she demonstrated the program with clubs and became the second in this program having won 27,850 points.

Thus, in total (83,650) of 3 exercises performed, she had been taking the fourth place. She had been left behind by Russians Darya Dmitrieva (86,725) and Evgeniya Kanayeva (86,600), as well as by Liubou Charkashina (83,900) from Belarus.

Then, Garayeva performed with a ribbon and received 28,200 points. She has 111,850 points in total. This is the third result after Kanayeva (116,000) and Dmitriyeva (114,525). So, she reached the final to be held on August 11.
