AN AZERBAIJANI GYMNAST TOOK THE 5TH PLACE IN THE TOURNAMENT IN RUSSIA

An international tournament in rhythmic gymnastics took place in Dmitrov situated near Moscow.

According to Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, the best result among our sportswomen was given by Aysha Mustafayeva, who took part in the competition of gymnasts born in 1995-96.

She won the 5th place in the final with a rope, 8th place in the final with a ribbon, and the 14th place in the all-around. And Yuliya Syomushkina took the 22nd place in the same age group.

Jannat Mammadova became the 9th, and Laman Dadashli took the 20th place among the sportswomen born in 1998-99.

The country’s one more gymnast, Gulsum Shafizada, performed in the tournament in Dnepropetrovsk.

In the competition of sportswomen born in 1997-98, she took the 6th place in the all-around final.

And a judge from Azerbaijan Natalya Bulanova was acknowledged as the “Miss Judge of the tournament” by the Organizing Committee of Ukrainian competitions.
