From April 30 to May 3, Baku will once again host one of the most spectacular events in rhythmic gymnastics – the European Cup. This prestigious tournament will bring together the strongest gymnasts of the continent in both individual and group routines, offering spectators an unforgettable celebration of sport.

One of the main features that sets the European Cup apart from other competitions is its cross-battle format. This system intensifies the competition and makes determining the winners even more exciting.

This year, the event stands out with a particularly strong lineup of participants. The current European all-around champion, Taisiia Onofriichuk, is considered one of the main favorites of the tournament. She will face strong competition from Olympic bronze medalist and the winner of the 2025 European Cup in Baku, Sofia Raffaeli.

Another member of the Italian national team, Tara Dragas, is also ready to compete for medals. In addition, the participation of well-known gymnasts such as Vera Tugolukova, Kseniya Zhijich, Daniela Munits, Andreya Verdes, Amalia Lisa, Fanni Pigniczki, and Hatice Gökçe Emir will further intensify the competition.

The Azerbaijan national team will also represent the country on home soil in both individual programs and with its newly formed group routine team.
