The third day of the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Cup has now concluded. On this competition day, senior gymnasts demonstrated their skills in the clubs and ribbon routines.
According to the results, in the ribbon exercise, Mariia Borisova (AIN 2) took first place. Taisiia Onofriiuchuk (Ukraine) placed second, while Tara Dragas (Italy) finished third.
In the clubs exercise, the gold medal went to Daniela Munits (Israel). Darya Varenich (AIN 1) took second place, and Sofia Raffaeli (Italy) earned third place.
In group exercises, teams performed routines with 5 hoops, as well as 3 ribbons and 2 pairs of clubs. In the 5 hoops program, Israel took first place, AIN 1 placed second, and Italy finished third. In the 3 ribbons and 2 pairs of clubs program, AIN 2 secured first place, AIN 1 came second, and Ukraine took third place.
Based on the results of the senior all-around qualification stage, the top 16 individual gymnasts advancing to the cross-battle rounds have been determined. In the round of 16, 8 gymnasts will compete in the hoop program and the other 8 in the ball program. The winners will advance to the next stage – the quarterfinals.
