The European Championships in tumbling has started in Odense, Denmark, in the homeland of a famous writer, tale-teller Hans Christian Andersen.

Azerbaijan is represented by 2 young sportsmen Said Salimov and Hafiz Rzayev. Beginning from this year, they perform in the seniors’ category. In the qualification, Said Salimov received 59.9 points in the total of two exercises somersault and twist – 27th place. And Hafiz Rzayev received from the judges 51 points – 31st place. The first three places were won by Russia, Poland and Belarus.
