At the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup held in Baku last weekend, one of the highlights was the presentation of medals to the prizewinners by drones.

Secretary General of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, Nurlana Mammadzada told “Report” that this decision can be regarded as another innovation arising from the current conditions associated with the pandemic.

"In order to minimize the gathering of people, the medals were awarded to gymnasts with the help of drones. This also brought a new introduction to the competitions, which were held without the participation of spectators," N. Mammadzada emphasized.
