Another day of the 28th FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships in Baku has come to an end successfully for the National Team of Azerbaijan.
Our Mixed Pair - Aghasif Rahimov & Raziya Seyidli in Dynamic exercises and gymnasts within Men’s Pair - Daniel Abbasov & Murad Rafiyev won medals in the Finals of the World Championships as well.
The highest success of the day was achieved by our Mixed Pair. The Silver and the Bronze medalists of the European Championships - Aghasif Rahimov & Raziya Seyidli won the Silver medals (28,640) in Dynamic exercises.
Men’s Pair of Azerbaijan - Daniel Abbasov & Murad Rafiyev, who won the Bronze medals at yesterday’s competitions, today repeated the same success in Dynamic exercises. They received 27,500 points from the judges and ranked 3rd.
The number of medals won by our representatives on the 3rd day of the World Championships has reached 3.
It should be mentioned that both medals are the first achievements in history of Azerbaijan in Acrobatic Gymnastics at the Worlds.
Today, gymnasts within Women’s Pairs, Women’s Groups and Men’s Groups were also determined the winners in Dynamic exercises.
Tomorrow, on the last day of the event, our Mixed Pair - Aghasif Rahimov & Raziya Seyidli and Men’s Pair of Azerbaijan - Daniel Abbasov & Murad Rafiyev, will execute their exercises in Balance exercises as well.
