More gymnasts become Masters of Sports

Our gymnasts, who already achieved certain success in Gymnastics, have been awarded with the title of "Master of Sports" by the Ministry of Youth and Sport.

Thus, the members of our team in group exercises, who won the Silver and Bronze medals at the 2020 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships in Kyiv - Maryam Safarova, Darya Sorokina, Yelyzaveta Luzan, a Silver and Bronze medalist of the first Junior World Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics (2019) - Arzu Jalilova and a finalist of both the European and World Championships - Narmina Samadova were honored with this title.

Among the awarded athletes, there are representatives of 2 more gymnastics disciplines. Ivan Tikhonov, a member of the Men's Artistic Gymnastics National Team, who was qualified for the Tokyo-2020 Olympic Games (World Championships / Stuttgart / 2019) and the winners in Aero Dance program of the Aerobic Gymnastics European Championships (2019) in Baku - Elchin Mammadov, Balakhanim Ahmadova, Narmina Huseynova, Imran Imranov, Madina Mustafayeva, Akif Karimli, Aykhan Ahmadli and Nigar Ibrahimbayli were presented with the book of "Master of Sports".
