Following the 35th Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships, Milli Gimnastika Arenasi (National Gymnastics Arena) hosts the participants of the 28th World Age Group Competitions.

The competition, which is eagerly awaited by pre-junior and junior gymnasts, will be held on November 25-28.

It should be mentioned that the World Age Group Competitions in this gymnastics discipline are held in our country for the first time.

650 gymnasts from 32 countries are expected to perform in the four-day competition. In total, more than 1,000 people visited Baku for the event as part of the delegations.

Gymnasts in the age groups of 11-12, 13-14, 15-16 and 17-21 will compete for the Championships. Every four days, the gymnasts will compete in both the qualifications and the finals to determine the finalists.

Azerbaijan will be represented by Seljan Mahsudova (17-21-years-old), prize-winner of the World Age Group Competitions and European Championships - Magsud Mahsudov (13-14-years-old), Ammar Bakhshaliyev (11-12-years-old), Ibrahim Mustafazade (11-12-years-old), Mehdi Aliyev (13-14-years-old), Nijat Mirzayev (13-14-years-old), Ali Niftaliyev (13-14-years old), Shafiga Humbatova (13-14-years-old) and Sama Jafarova (11-12-years old). In the tumbling competitions, the Bronze medalists of the European Championships, Tofig Aliyev (17-21-years-old), Adil Hajizada (15-16 years old), Bilal Gurbanov (15-16 years old), Huseyn Asadullayev (15-16 years old), as well as the winners of the World Age Group Competitions in the 11-12 age category, Alexey Karatashov (13-14-years-old) and Elnur Mammadov (15-16-years-old) will compete.

It should be mentioned that in accordance with the requirements of the existing quarantine rules, World Age Group Competitions will be held without spectators.
