The first national Aerobic Gymnastics Championship held in Ganja

On November 2, the city of Ganja hosted the 9th National Aerobic Gymnastics Championship for the first time. The competition took place at the Ganja Sports Palace.

Gymnasts competing in the event performed in various age categories and programs:

  • Kids (2017–2018) – individual routines,
  • Children (2014–2016) – individual, mixed pair, trio, and group routines,
  • Pre-teens (2011–2013) – individual, mixed pair, trio, group, and aerodance routines,
  • Juniors – individual and trio compositions.

A total of around 60 gymnasts representing Ocaq Sport Club and the Sumgait Olympic Sports Complex took part in the competition. The gymnasts showcased their skills, demonstrating great determination and creativity.

Outstanding participants were awarded medals and diplomas. The competition stood out not only for the athletes’ individual talents but also for the spirit of teamwork, unity, and sportsmanship it displayed.

The event also served as a test competition ahead of the 1st European Championship among juniors and gymnasts under 15, to be held in Ganja on November 9–11.
