While “Milli Gimnastika Arenasi” (National Gymnastics Arena) hosted the historical competition - the 1st European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics, our athletes training within the native walls of the arena, also represented our country in other international competition. 
Thus, on May 2-5, the members of our National Team participated in the Senior & Junior European Championships in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics held in the Italian city of Rimini. 154 athletes from 38 countries took part in the event, where our country was represented in the age categories of Seniors & Juniors. Senior gymnast in the Individual program - Teymurova Nazanin and Junior gymnasts in the Individual program - Aliyeva Daniz, Mammadova Aytan and Abbaszada Khadija tested their strength on Floor, Vault, Balance Beam, Uneven Bars & in the All-Around.
