On June 19–21, Azerbaijani gymnasts participated in several international competitions and achieved impressive results. Our representatives successfully represented the country by winning medals.

At the World Cup in acrobatic gymnastics held in Rzeszów, Poland, our women’s group in the senior category reached the top step of the podium. The team consisting of Anahita Bashiri, Nazrin Zeyniyeva and Zahra Rashidova scored 29.190 points and became the winners of the gold medal.

At the same competition, our women’s group competing in the junior category also achieved a successful result. The team consisting of Ayan Hajili, Aylin Mammadova and Firuza Gasimzada earned 26.650 points and won the silver medal.

Meanwhile, an international tournament in trampoline gymnastics and tumbling was held in Stavropol, Russia. Azerbaijani athletes competing in tumbling also performed successfully. Mikhail Malkin won the gold medal and became the champion of the tournament, while Adil Hacizade earned the silver medal.

Thus, the weekend was remembered for the successful achievements of our gymnasts.
