From November 13-16, members of the Azerbaijani National Team showcased successful performances in various age categories at the international "Velvet Road" tournament in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In the individual competitions within the junior age category, Aydin Alizada secured Gold medals in Vault (13.649) and Rings (12.466), as well as a Silver medal on Pommel Horse (12.400). Miryusif Ahmadzada also won Gold on Pommel Horse (12.500).
In the senior category, Nikita Simonov won the Gold on Rings (14.700), while Ivan Tikhonov on Pommel Horse (13.966) and Murad Agharzayev in Vault (13.566) won Bronze medals. The National Team also took the 3rd place in the Team Competition, claiming a Bronze medal. The team was represented by Nikita Simonov, Mansum Safarov, Rasul Ahmadzada and Ivan Tikhonov.

Additionally, Ilham Salayev, a representative of the Baku Gymnastics School, competing in the pre-junior age category, won Gold in Parallel Bars (12.200), Silver on Vault (11.866), Rings (11.400) and floor exercise (12.133) and Bronze in the All-around (67.399).
