On July 5 & 6, our Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team in Group Exercises mounted the highest step of the podium at the International tournament held in the Spanish city of Zaragoza three times. So, they took the first place in the All-Around, scoring 72,000 points and decisively securing the highest position. In performance with separate apparatus, their 38.050 points with 5 Hoops earned led them to the “Silver”. Our National Team won the medal for their performance with 3 Ribbons / 2 Balls as well. Our team, whose performances were evaluated with 32,800 points, also won the Silver medal in this program. Thus, the Azerbaijani Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team in Group Exercises concluded the International tournament in Zaragoza with 3 medals.
This event serves as a warm-up stage for the Olympic Games. The medals won will inspire our National Team for future victories. Congratulations to our gymnasts on their achievements.
