Today, when there are still “Novruz” Holidays in our country, national anthem of Azerbaijan has been sounded under the dome of the ASPIRE Academy sports facility in Doha (Qatar), where the FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics come to an end. Our gymnast Oleg Stepko had no equals in final exrcises on Parallel Bars who received 15.825 points from the judges. Manrique Larduet (15.775) from Cuba and representative from Vietnam Phuoc Hung Pham(15.350) mounted the second and third steps of the podium accordingly.

In the final on Pommel Horse, Oleg Stepko shared the 3^rd place with athlete from Slovenia Saso Bertoncelj with precisely 15 points, and ranked 5^th (14.725) on Vault.

Another Azerbaijani gymnast Petro Pakhnyuk took the 5^th place in Floor exercises, shared the 5^th place with representative of Japan Daiki Yorogoon Pommel Horse and became the 7^th on Parallel Bars.

At the competitions in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Azerbaijan was represented by Marina Nekrasova, Yuliya Inshina and Mariia Smirnova. Having performed in the final on Vault, Marina Nekrasova ranked 6^th.
