The European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics are being held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, from August 13 to 23.

The prestigious event, being held in Zagreb for the first time, brings together a total of 670 senior and junior gymnasts from 44 countries. With these participation figures, Zagreb 2026 will go down in history as the largest European Championships in the event’s history.

Our country is represented in the senior category by Nikita Simonov. Our gymnast delivered a strong performance in the qualification round on still rings, scoring 14.166 points. With this result, Simonov finished 7th and secured a place in the final.

The men’s competition takes place from August 19 to 23, while the still rings final will be held on August 21.
