Yesterday, the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Cup (March 8-10) completed its work in Maia, Portugal.

Although it was the first tournament in 2019 joined by our gymnasts, they started the season successfully. Thus, the Mixed Pair – Ruhidil Gurbanli and Abdulla Al-Mashaykhi completed the tournament with the Bronze medal. The representatives of Russia ranked 1^st and Belarusian gymnasts 2^nd accordingly. Unfortunately, another Mixed Pair – Nurjan Jabbarli and Aghasif Rahimov failed to reach the Finals.

Our  Men`s Pair consisting of Seymur Jafarov And Murad Akparov performed at the finals, but  their mistake prevented them to win the medals and they ranked 5^th.

Along with our pairs at the World Cup, our Women`s Group demonstrated their performances in senior age group for the first time. Although it was their first experience, Laman Mammadova, Emiliya Nazarli and Raziya Seyidli managed to reach the final and completed the competition at the 7^th  position.
