Today, the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup has commenced at Milli Gimnastika Arenasi (National Gymnastics Arena). On the first day of the competitions, Men`s Artistic Gymnasts tested their strength on Floor, Paralel Bars and Rings, while Women`s Artistic Gymnasts performed on Uneven Bars and Vault.

The representatives of Azerbaijan succeeded to ensure 3 Finals on the first Qualification day. Thus, our gymnasts reached the finals on their favourite apparatus: Marina Nekrasova - Vault (13.966), Murad Agharzayev - Floor (14.066) and Nikita Simonov – Rings (14.433) accordingly.

Azerbaijani gymnasts` final performances will be on March 16.

At tomorrow`s Qualification men will compete on Vault, Pommel Horse and Horizontal Bar, at same time, women on Balance Beam and Floor.

It should be mentioned that the World Cup qualifying for Tokyo-2020 Summer Olympic Games will contunie until March 17.
