On August 13-20, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation organized the FIG Academy Level 1 for its local Aerobic Gymnastics’ coaches in Baku.

During the course, consisting of both theory and practice, the FIG experts - Olga Kyselovicova (Slovakia), Desislava Bogusheva (Bulgaria) and Marian Kolev, who is the Head Coach of our National Team in Aerobic Gymnastics at the same time, also delivered lectures on biomechanics, anatomy and psychology.

Along with our 10 local coaches - Vladimir Dolmatov, Aleksandra Gorobchuk, Emil Guliyev, Narmina Huseynova, Imran Imranov, Jamila Ismayilova, Malak Karimova, Elchin Mammadov, Alfiya Mantova and Firuza Sadigova, five foreign coaches from Ukraine, Russia and Uzbekistan took part in the 7-day workshop. According to the results of the examinations held on the last day of the seminar, all the participants, having successfully completed the course, passed the FIG Academy Level 1.
