On February 12th and 13th, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) held referee exams for trampoline gymnastics and tumbling in Lausanne, Switzerland, according to the relevant regulations for the next Olympic cycle, covering the years 2022-2024.
Two of our representatives, Kamil Quliyev (trampoline gymnastics) and Rahib Əliyev (tumbling), have upgraded their international referee qualifications. Specifically, Kamil Quliyev has obtained the 2nd degree, while Rahib Əliyev has achieved the 3rd degree.
It is important to note that, according to FIG regulations, after each Olympic Games, changes are made to the rules for gymnastics sports, requiring referees to either confirm their current qualifications or upgrade to a higher degree every four years. There are a total of four referee levels, with 1st degree being the highest and 4th degree being the lowest.
