The Azerbaijani gymnasts have been honored with the title of “World Class Gymnast” according to the results of the World Championships held in gymnastics disciplines in 2018.

It should be mentioned that our Rhythmic Gymnast - Zohra Aghamirova (World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria), Mixed pair in Acrobatic Gymnastics consisting of Abdulla Al-Mashaykhi and Ruhidil Gurbanli (World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium) and  Artistic Gymnast - Nikita Simonov (World Championships in Doha, Qatar) were awarded with the World Class Gymnast`s pin by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).
