Last weekend, there was held the Test event in gymnastics disciplines for the 2^nd European Games in the capital of Belarus – Minsk.

The members of the Azerbaijani National Teams in both Aerobic and Acrobatic Gymnastics also tested their strength in these competitions taking place at Minsk Arena. At the Aerobic gymnastics events with the participation of only Belarusian and Azerbaijani gymnasts, our representatives completed their routines successfully. Thus, Imran Imranov and Madina Mustafayeva won the Silver medal within Mixed Pair. The first and the 3^rd places were taken by the host gymnasts. In group competition, Balakhanim Ahmadova, Madina Mustafayeva, Imran Imranov, Narmina Huseynova, and Vladimir Dolmatov succeeded to win the Gold medal.

At the competitions of Acrobatic Gymnastics, the athletes from Russia, Belarus, Poland, Netherlands, and Azerbaijan have participated and our representatives have completed the Test event with 3 medals. The Mixed Pair consisting of Ruhidil Gurbanli and Abdulla Al-Mashaykhi became the Gold medalist for all their routines at the Finals completed yesterday. Belarusian gymnasts mounted the 1^st step of the podium and Russian gymnasts became the 3^rd accordingly.

It should be mentioned that Azerbaijan will be represented in Rhythmic, Acrobatics, Trampoline and Artistic gymnastics at the gymnastics events within the framework of the 2^nd European Games to be held on June 21-30, 2019.
