Last weekend, the Azerbaijani junior gymnasts of the Artistic Gymnastics National Team performed in the International Tournament held in Budapest.

Azerbaijani gymnasts representing our country in various age categories won 6 medals. The majority of medals were brought to the team`s medal box by Akhmad Rustam. Thus, our gymnast won the Silver medal on Horizontal Bar (12.650) and 2 Bronze medals on both Rings (12.400) and Floor (12.300). This junior gymnast became the Gold medalist in the All-Around with 73.400 points.

In the tournament, another Azerbaijani gymnast – Mansum Safarov executed his exercise on Horizontal Bar and won the Bronze medal having received 11.350 points from the judges. At the events, one more medal was won by Samad Mammadli. Having received 12.650 points from the judges, Samad became the Bronze medalist for his Horizontal Bar routine.
